Phill Shaw

Phillip R. Shaw is an experienced trial attorney who represents businesses, contractors, developers, and property owners in complex construction and commercial disputes. With more than 20 years of litigation experience across California, Utah, and Texas, Mr. Shaw has handled matters involving contract disputes, construction defects,  insurance-related issues, commercial disputes, personal injury claims, and other high-stakes civil litigation. He is admitted to practice in Texas, California, and Utah and has successfully guided clients through every stage of the litigation process, from pre-suit negotiations and discovery through trial and appeal.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Shaw developed a wealth of litigation experience, leading civil litigation teams and advising businesses and municipalities on a wide range of legal matters. His extensive courtroom experience includes depositions, motion practice, mediations,  and jury trials. In addition to his litigation experience, he has significant experience drafting and negotiating contracts and advising clients on risk management and business operations. Fluent in Spanish, Mr. Shaw is committed to providing practical, results-driven representation to a diverse client base.

Mr. Shaw earned his Juris Doctor from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Utah State University. He is an active member of the State Bars of Texas, California, and Utah and has presented at continuing legal education seminars on litigation-related topics.
